I really can’t stand Anne Atkins, and the rightwing nonsense drivel she comes out with on Thought for the Day on the Today programme. This morning her take on the Lucie Blackman case was, as far as I could tell, that the bloke accused should have been found guilty because (a) she was “young and beautiful” (her words) and (b) because her parents loved her very much.
I’m OK with the legal system displaying a bit of humanity where appropriate, but I am really not convinced that this a good solid basis for justice…

I am so pleased to find someone who has the same view about Anne snd her Thoughts on the Today programme. I have emailed the show several times asking them to stop her before she makes me go mad but with no success. Perhaps we could start a protest and get people to write to the show calling on them to end the madness thet is Anne Atkins.

I totally disagree with the personal view of Anne Atkins displayed in this blog.
I find her a breath of fresh air!
Why not celebrate the difference of opinion and ideology, instead of insisting that a contempory Christian voice is removed from the airwaves, er rather like in some nations where people are not free to proclaim a views!
Interesting as I note that this seems to be a Lib dem blog.um…

Poor Mark is missing the point about Anne. He can’t see see a problem. Why? Because he is unable to see this is not about religion. It is about someone who has no brain, who is so far away from ordinary people she is likley to say let them eat cake. Wake up and smell the coffee. Try living in the real world.
